Job Description:

The road service lube technician drives the company service truck and is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance to our heavy equipment to avoid unnecessary down time in the field.This is a fulltime position with  overtime.

The technician will be responsible for the daily fueling and greasing of all equipment and supports the Field Service Technicians with performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. This position will fuel all equipment, grease all fittings that require, top off all fluids according to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standard, assist with Preventative Maintenance as needed, fill fluids as requested by Technicians, and document all fluids daily to monitor inventory level. And have required labor duties. All positions require consistent cooperation with the company’s safety policies and procedures.

*Comply with all safety standards.

*Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when and where required.

*Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

*Fuel and grease all equipment daily.

*Diagnose and repair company assets, maintain repair order documentation and assist other maintenance personnel when required.

*Document repair operations and time tracking in accordance with company policies.

*Request parts required as necessary.

*Ensure service trucks are kept clean, organized, and maintained properly and ready for use at all times.

*Immediately report any safety violations and correct unsafe acts or conditions.

*Perform technical inspections and document findings.

*Perform Preventive Maintenance operations when required.

*Drop oil and change filters.

*Change air filters and cabin air filters.

Experience and Skills:

*One year of related medium or heavy truck driving experience and/or specialized training;

*Heavy equipment maintenance experience;

*Must possess own tools or willing to purchase tools;

*Possess chauffeur driver license with valid medical card

*Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;

*Ability to independently operate commercial motor vehicles.

*Thorough knowledge of applicable safety precautions

*Strong communication skills to coordinate work flow with crew, foreman, dispatcher and supervisor.

*Ability to work under general supervision per work schedule

*Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.

*Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.

*Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue and to effectively jump, sprint or throw an object.
